Invisible Strings: An RE Summer Program for All Ages
Sundays, July 5-August 30, 1:00-2:00 PM Live on Zoom

Just as the 7th Unitarian Universalist Principle affirms that we are all a part of the interdependent web of existence, the children's storybook The Invisible String by Patrice Karst says that every being is connected, heart-to-heart, by invisible strings. While we remain physically distant this summer, we will explore ways to deepen and strengthen these invisible strings through story, song, games, dance, worship...and we may even figure out how to make slime at home! All are welcome to join Carson Jones and George Weisman with a talented group of program leaders for this super-fun Summer Sunday experience!

Coming up Sunday, July 12, 2020! Last week, we asked everyone to find their very own Useful Pot (an empty jar, box, glass, or other container) and put one special thing inside that symbolizes something you're grateful for. Please bring your Useful Pot with you this Sunday where Suzanne will lead us in a super-fun game! The story we'll be hearing is Eeyore Has a Birthday, written by A.A. Milne and illustrated by Ernest Shepard. This Winnie-the Pooh chapter reminds us that special occasions don't always go as planned, but love and thoughtfulness are more important than making every little thing perfect. George will lead us in some meaningful music, and also come prepared for an awesome scavenger hunt icebreaker activity!
