Worship Service: "Expecting the Days of Awe," The Rev. Jennifer Brower
In the Jewish tradition, Rosh Hashanah (which begins at sunset today) is the first of the ten Days of Awe culminating in Yom Kippur. The beginning of the new year marks a separation between what was and what will be. It is a pause in the march of days—a pause that holds the space for reflection on behavior, values, and aspirations. It’s an opportunity to renew our commitment to our highest values.
